The VICE is a classically styled, fast-action rod range designed to be accessible to all anglers. The multi-modulus carbon fibre blanks offer increased levels of recovery for casting with greater accuracy and control, and the subtle design touches like black anodised snake guides, laser-etched reel seats, and saltwater grade components all work together to create a fly rod that anglers can’t resist. Very fast #7 rod

I bought the Vice (7 weight) after a total meltdown with a Snowbee Diamond 2. The Diamond 2 seemed unable to cut it in windy conditions and not wonderful at laying the line out on the backcast. The Vice however solves all that. It's fast action, responsive, well-made for the money and has increased my casting distance by at least 25/30%. Great rod -and I'll buy another...probably a 3 or 4 weight for small river brown trout fishing shortly. Delivered well in very secure packaging. Big thanks to Serious Fishing. Sportfish...you can do better!
